Racing

Club races, national championships and international races on our own circuit.

A large part of the hobby is about setting up, practising, driving together and drinking coffee – but the best part is still measuring yourself against real opponents in a race, not on a screen. And you can do that at AMCA! We organise club races that are open to members and guests. Several classes of the Dutch national championship also visit our circuit, as do large multi-day events.

Here you'll find information about the classes, registration, the rules your car must comply with and when races take place on our track. You do need a MyLaps transponder.

Classes

Electric

Electric club races take place on Saturdays; the schedule and rules are set out in the general rules for club races. At championship level the same applies as for nitro. Larger events such as the ETS and the Tamiya Cup often last the whole weekend or even three days.

Scale 1/10

Beginners

Entry-level class for novice club drivers on a Tamiya TT01/TT02 or Yokomo Rookie Speed, with a restricted motor and gear ratio. Not intended for drivers with Dutch championship experience.

Scale 1/10

Legends

Tamiya TT01E or TT02 with the Carson Dragster 16T set, preferably with replica bodies of real touring cars from series such as DTM and BTCC.

Scale 1/10

Formule 1

2WD formula cars with a realistic F1 body, prescribed stock motors and foam tyres.

Scale 1/10

Front Wheel Drive

Front-wheel-drive cars with a realistic hatchback body (such as a Polo or Golf), a prescribed 17.5T motor and spec tyres.

Scale 1/10

Toerwagen Stock

4WD touring cars with a prescribed 17.5T motor and ESC, fixed gear ratio and one set of tyres per race day.

Scale 1/10

Toerwagen Modified

4WD touring cars with open motor, ESC and gearing; minimum weight 1300 grams.

Scale 1/8

GT 1/8

Electric 1/8 GT chassis with a GT or DTM body; open motor, ESC and gearing, max. 4S.

Scale 1/10

Pro Ten Stock (LMP2)

1/10 pan car with a Group C, Le Mans, prototype or World GT body and a 540 motor of 10.5 turns or more.

Nitro

For nitro we host Dutch championship and European races. Championship rounds, organised by NOMAC, run on Sunday from 10:00; on the Saturday the circuit is reserved for the competitors. Larger events such as the Grand Prix and the ENS sometimes span several days.

Register via MyRCM

Registration for races at AMCA is done via MyRCM. You need a (free) MyRCM account. For club races, registration opens on the Friday three weeks before the race and closes at 22:00 on the Thursday evening before the race.

You can also withdraw via your account: go to "Administration" and click "Registrations" on the right. The bin icon next to the race cancels your entry. If that doesn't work, please contact race control.

A class needs at least 5 registered drivers to go ahead. The beginners class is an exception and also runs with fewer drivers.

The entry fee for a club race is €5 for members and €15 for non-members, payable on race day in the clubhouse.
